Zenith Pomodoro (“the Application”), developed by Jamie Chu and Shahab Darvish (“we,” “us,” or “our”), is committed to maintaining the highest standards of user privacy and data security. The Application is engineered with a focus on data minimization. We do not collect or store any “Personally Identifiable Information” (PII) such as your name, email address, physical address, or precise location.

A. Local Persistent Storage

The Application utilizes Apple’s SwiftData framework to store productivity-related information, including:

• Focus session records (start/end timestamps, durations, and session phases).
• User-defined tags associated with focus sessions.
• Completion status and session history.

This data is stored exclusively on your device’s local storage and is never transmitted to our servers or any third-party databases.

B. Configuration and State Management

We utilize UserDefaults and AppStorage to store non-identifying application preferences and state, such as:

• Timer configuration (durations, notification settings).
• User interface preferences (theme settings, tip visibility).
• Live Activity and Widget states for on-device synchronization.

This data is stored within your device’s private application container and, where applicable, shared locally with the Application’s system widgets via an App Group. This synchronization occurs entirely within the operating system’s local environment.

2. Third-Party Service Providers

We employ trusted third-party services to facilitate specific features and ensure a seamless user experience:

• RevenueCat: We utilize RevenueCat to manage in-app purchases and subscriptions. When you initiate a transaction, RevenueCat processes data provided by Apple’s App Store to verify purchase status. This data is handled in accordance with RevenueCat’s Privacy Policy. We do not receive or store your financial information or identity through this process.
• Apple App Store: All transactions are processed via Apple’s secure infrastructure. We recommend reviewing the Apple Privacy Policy for details on how they manage transaction-related data.

3. Analytics and Tracking

We do not engage in invasive tracking practices. Specifically:

• No Third-Party Analytics: We do not use external analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Firebase, Mixpanel).
• No Cross-App Tracking: We do not track your activity across other applications or websites.
• No Advertising: The Application is free of third-party advertisements.

4. Data Security

The security of your data is of paramount importance. Because your information is stored locally on your device, its protection is governed by your device’s security protocols (e.g., FaceID, TouchID, and device passcodes). We do not have remote access to your device or the data stored within the Application.

5. Children’s Privacy

The Application is intended for a general audience and does not knowingly collect information from children under the age of 13. Given our architecture, we do not collect personal data from any users, regardless of age.

6. International Compliance

While your data remains on-device, our privacy-first approach is designed to respect the principles of global privacy regulations, including the GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) and CCPA (California Consumer Privacy Act), by ensuring users retain full ownership and control over their information.

7. User Control and Data Portability

• Data Deletion: You may delete individual focus sessions or clear your entire history at any time via the Application’s internal settings.
• Complete Removal: Deleting the Application will remove all associated local data and configuration files from your device.
